IDA Introduction:
The Tioga County Industrial Development Agency (TCIDA) is a public benefit corporation organized under the New York State General Municipal Law.  IDA's must be sponsored by a county, town, city or village.  The role of an IDA is to actively promote, attract, encourage and develop recreation, economically sound commerce and industry.

Mission Statement:
It is the mission of the Tioga County Industrial Development Agency to promote, develop, encourage and assist in acquiring, construction, maintaining, equipping and furnishing certain types of projects and facilities, to advance the job opportunities, health, general prosperity, economic welfare and recreation opportunities of the citizens of Tioga County.

Who is the TCIDA?
The Tioga County Legislature appoints a seven (7) person Board of Directors. The Board meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 5:30 PM in the Tioga County Office Building, Edward D. Hubbard Auditorium, 56 Main Street, 1st Floor, Owego, NY.  Daily operations are managed by Business Administrator, LeeAnn Tinney (607) 687-8259.
